My Review of the Old Town Bluffton Inn in South Carolina

Old Town Bluffton Inn
Decorated for the holiday season, the Inn is as charming as it gets!

My husband and I love long weekend getaways to small, charming towns around the country. So when my sister-in-law told us she was throwing a surprise 70th birthday party for her hubby – they live in Bluffton, South Carolina, we immediately decided to make a weekend out of it. Enter Old Town Bluffton Inn. Fabulous amenities and the perfect location, smack dab in the center of everything in Old Town Bluffton. We are sharing some tidbits about our stay and putting it out there – if you and your partner are looking for a romantic getaway or a spot for a fun girl’s weekend, bingo! You’re welcome!

Location, Location, Location

A Little Bit of Santa in Town, & A Little Bit of Shopping! And The Haven Boutique is Right Across the Street from the Inn

The Inn is about half an hour from Savannah, Georgia, in one direction and Charleston, South Carolina, in the opposite direction. You could have lunch in Savannah and dinner in Charleston if you wanted to, but the truth is, there are delicious restaurants, fabulous boutiques, antiquing, and plenty of things to do right in Bluffton. And even better, so much of it is within walking distance of the Old Town Bluffton Inn! Even the May River is steps away.

The Look and Feel of Old Town Bluffton Inn

Doesn’t Get Any Cuter for the Holidays!

The Old Town Bluffton Inn is beautifully decorated. Think British touches with French influences, two timeless themes that strike a chord of elegance and luxury. Classic Southern style was complimented by beautiful holiday decorations as we visited in December. If you’re like me and you love all the holidays have to offer, the Old Town Bluffton Inn is a great place to stay and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.

However, we would stay here any time of the year – and we will visit again when we return to Bluffton – it’s that special.

Old Town Bluffton Inn is a True Hidden Gem

Delicious choices for breakfast, including egg sandwiches, quiches, pastries, fruit, cereal, and more.

In my opinion, the term “hidden gem” gets thrown around a little too lightly. But when it comes to the Old Town Bluffton Inn, it’s the perfect description! This family-owned and operated hotel allows you to get away from it all and enjoy the simpler things in life. A nice walk through an adorable town, relaxing nights in the comfiest bed in a cozy, luxurious room, and a delicious glass of wine. Does it get any better than that?

As I said, my husband and I went during the holidays, but still, no matter what time of year you visit, the Old Town Bluffton Inn is a wonderful opportunity to disconnect and enjoy yourself. We both highly recommend the Inn. One note – no pets are permitted, so you need to leave your furry friends at home. You’ll be happy! The Inn is pristine and sparkling.
