The 4 Women’s T-Shirts I Wear on Repeat (And Why They’ve Earned a Permanent Place in My Closet)

I have a confession…

I own more T-shirts than any one person probably needs.

And yes… a lot of them happen to be white. 😊

But before you judge me, hear me out.

They’re not all the same.

Some are my everyday favorites. Some are perfect under a blazer. Some travel beautifully because they barely wrinkle. And some just have that “wow, this is a really good T-shirt” factor.

Living in South Florida, I wear T-shirts almost year-round with jeans, linen pants, skirts, and yes… even Bermuda shorts. They’re one of the hardest-working pieces in my closet, so when I find one I truly love, I don’t mind buying it in several colors—or replacing it years later with the exact same style.

People ask me about my T-shirts all the time, so I thought I’d share the four brands that have earned a permanent place in my closet.

One quick note before we get started…

Every brand I’m sharing makes beautiful V-necks, scoop necks, tanks, and other styles. I own some of those, too. But if you asked me to choose just one, I’d pick a classic crewneck every single time. It’s timeless, flattering, easy to layer, and the style I reach for most often.

For reference, I wear a medium in all four brands.

FRANNE GOLDE

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably seen me wearing Franne Golde more times than I can count.

My favorite is the Slub Jersey Icon Crew Tee, and I own it in white, black, sand, and now the beautiful new Haze blue.

Made from 100% cotton, these tees are soft, breathable, beautifully constructed, and have a gorgeous slub jersey texture that gives them an elevated look. They’re the kind of T-shirt that works just as well with jeans and sneakers as it does with linen pants, jewelry, and a blazer.

At $70, I think they’re well worth the investment because they’ve held up beautifully over the years. Franne Golde also offers promotions throughout the year. New customers can usually receive 15% off by signing up for emails, and you can also use my code, GWEN, for 15% off your order.

Because they’re 100% cotton, I fold them carefully when I travel and usually give them a quick steam if needed. That’s simply part of wearing beautiful natural fibers.

ATM

ATM is another longtime favorite.

Like Franne Golde, these tees are also made from 100% cotton and are beautifully soft with exceptional quality. I honestly don’t think of them as competitors—they each have their own personality, and that’s exactly why I own both.

One thing ATM does especially well is color. Their selection is incredible, so once you find a style you love, it’s very tempting to add another… and another.

They’re around $98, and if you’re buying more than one, keep an eye on their promotions. Right now they’re offering 20% off when you purchase three.

(I’m not saying you need five T-shirts… but I’m also not judging if you do. 😉)

Like my Franne Golde tees, I simply pack these with a little extra care when I travel.

L’AGENCE

Sometimes I want a relaxed T-shirt.

Other times I’m wearing a more tailored blazer or jacket and want a slimmer silhouette underneath.

That’s when I usually reach for my L’AGENCE Ressi Fitted Tee.

Made from 93% rayon and 7% spandex, it has a silky, smooth feel with just the right amount of stretch. It skims the body beautifully without ever feeling tight, making it my favorite choice when I want a polished, streamlined look.

L’AGENCE also offers beautiful colors and prints, so there’s no shortage of options.

ANRABESS

Now let’s talk about one of my favorite Amazon finds.

The ANRABESS crewneck proves you don’t always have to spend a fortune to find a T-shirt you’ll wear on repeat.

Made from a rayon, polyester, and elastane blend, it’s soft, comfortable, has a nice amount of stretch, and one feature I especially love: it barely wrinkles.

If I’m packing for a trip, this is usually one of the first T-shirts that goes into my suitcase because I know it’ll come out looking great.

Depending on Amazon’s sales, I’ve seen it priced anywhere from about $9 to $20, making it one of the best bargains in my closet.

Sometimes you really do find an affordable gem.

DOES FABRIC REALLY MATTER?

I think it does.

Both Franne Golde and ATM are beautifully made 100% cotton tees, and there’s just something timeless about quality cotton. They’re soft, breathable, and only seem to get better with time.

L’AGENCE and ANRABESS use fabric blends, but for completely different reasons.

The rayon blend in L’AGENCE creates that smooth, body-skimming fit that’s perfect under blazers and tailored jackets.

The blend in ANRABESS helps it resist wrinkles, making it one of my favorite travel tees.

For me, it’s never about one fabric being better than another. It’s simply about choosing the right T-shirt for the day.

HOW I CARE FOR MY T-SHIRTS

People often ask how I’ve kept some of these looking so good over the years.

Nothing fancy.

I usually hand wash them or wash them on the delicate cycle, then lay them flat to dry.

It takes a little extra effort, but I’ve found it helps them keep their shape and looking beautiful much longer.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS

People sometimes ask me why I own so many T-shirts.

My answer is always the same: because they’re not all the same.

Some days I want beautiful cotton.

Some days I want a more fitted silhouette.

Some days I’m packing a suitcase and don’t want to think about wrinkles.

That’s why these four brands have all earned a permanent place in my closet.

If you’re looking for one “perfect” T-shirt, I don’t think one exists. But if you’re looking for a few wonderful ones that each do something a little differently, I hope this roundup helps you find your next favorite.

You can find all of these T-shirts, along with many of my other favorite fashion, beauty, home, and travel finds, in my ShopMy store. I’ll have everything linked there to make shopping easy.

And now I have to ask…

Is there a T-shirt brand you absolutely love that I should try?

You know I’m always willing to make room in my closet for just one more. 😉
