What a marvelous afternoon at the Romero Britto Gallery on Lincoln Road in South Beach.
Liz Newman, Romero Britto’s Senior Art Consultant, gave us the red carpet treatment from the moment we walked in.
Hubs and I enjoyed a personal tour of the gallery, complete with some history about @romerobritto.
He is fascinating! We also got to sample Bodega Norton Barrel Select By Romero Britto – a light and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc.
We honestly didn’t know where to look first – so much beauty and creativity in one space. And he’s got another gallery On Lincoln Road too – @brittogallery which we are planning to visit another time.
In case you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who this Brazilian-born internationally acclaimed artist is, here’s the super short version… Britto combines elements such as graffiti, pop art, and cubism – always in vibrant colors and patterns, and the end results are simply spectacular.
What you see and hear as you swipe through is just a blink of what you can actually see in person.
I love this shot of me with the two Liz beauties, and that handbag – well, let’s just say my birthday is in March! Enjoy all the info shared by Liz!

We left with a broader understanding of the scope of this Miami resident’s work, as well as our own original @romerobritto!! So exciting!I
The Artist
If you’re looking for a fun and different way to spend a few hours, pop into the @romerobrittogallery on Lincoln Road and prepare to be mesmerized. His works are cheerful, optimistic and uplifting, and I promise you’ll leave smiling. #romerobritto

In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Safari. Superb Blog!
